What you'll experience

The day starts at 5:00 a.m. heading to the border, to enter a country full of culture, history and stunning landscapes. At Puerto San Jorge we board a comfortable ferry to cross the largest freshwater lake in Latin America.

The destination is Ometepe Island, home to two volcanoes that dominate the horizon. Once there, we tour the island by motorcycle to explore it up close. One of the highlights is a natural oasis of crystal-clear water that springs from the volcano, perfect for a swim.

On the ferry back to the mainland, a spectacular sunset over the lake awaits. Check with our team which documents you need to cross the border.
